It's been such a long time!

I have not updated my blog in such a long time! I have been incredibly busy; getting married, moving, working, etc... With my new relationship, I have aquired a new little puppy, Chupa.  He is the cutest chiuaua in the entire world!  So, he bites a little and likes to hump stuffed animals..  None the less, he is the cuddliest little munchkin when he is in the mood.  I will post some pictures soon enough!
Chad and I spent 2 weeks in Florida over the holidays and the warm weather was rewarding an provided plenty of quality of bike workouts. We took puppy Chupa with us and had a very fun and productive trip.
I have been thinking long and hard about the upcoming race schedule and i think that I am going to keep it local this year.  I am going to focus on the short stuff for the first part of the summer with the hopes of building some speed and power and then if I feel "unchallenged", I am going to hit up a few 70.3's.
I will be riding for Team Kenda with the hopes of adding a few bike races to my schedule and I will be working hard trying to reach my 40k Time Trial goals.
After a string of mediocre half ironmans last year, I concluded that this girl just needs to get fast.  While I am working on that whole getting fast thing, I miss you all and can't wait to see you when the snow clears and the sun comes out!
